Terms of Service

Last updated:

Acceptance of these terms

These terms form an agreement between you and C-Vids Productions (UEN 53119647W), 9002 Tampines Street 93, #03-36, Singapore 528836, which operates Questme.ai.

By creating an account or using Questme you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.

The service

Questme lets you build AI chat assistants (“bots”) that answer your website visitors’ questions from knowledge you provide — crawled web pages, pasted text, FAQ pairs, PDFs and images — and that can collect visitors’ contact details as leads.

Answers are generated by an AI model from your knowledge. They can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for checking that your bot answers accurately before relying on it, and for any commitment your bot appears to make to your visitors.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account, for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential, and for activity carried out under your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation, tell us at support@questme.ai.

Plans and billing

Every account starts on the Free plan. Start free: 1 bot, 100 chats/month, no credit card. Upgrade anytime. There is no free trial of the paid plans.

Paid plans are Starter US$68, Pro US$128, Scale US$248 per month. All prices are in US dollars. Each plan includes the limits shown on our pricing page.

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payments provider. You are charged when you upgrade at checkout, and then at the start of each billing period.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from Dashboard → Billing → Manage, which opens Stripe’s customer portal. When your subscription ends, your account returns to the Free plan.

We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial months.

Acceptable use

When using Questme, and in everything your bots say and collect, you agree to the following.

  • You are responsible for the knowledge you upload or ask us to crawl. Upload only content you have the right to use, and only crawl websites you own or are permitted to copy.
  • Do not use a bot to publish or send unlawful, defamatory, infringing, deceptive or harassing content, or to impersonate another person or business.
  • Do not use a bot to collect sensitive personal data such as identity numbers, payment card details, health or financial records.
  • If your bot collects visitors’ contact details, you must have a lawful basis to do so and tell your visitors how you will use them, as Singapore’s PDPA and any other law that applies to you requires.
  • Do not attempt to reach another customer’s data, interfere with the security of the service, or disrupt its operation for other users.
  • Do not resell the service or provide access to it to third parties as though it were your own.

Suspension

We may suspend or disable a bot or an account that breaches these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully. Where it is practical, we will tell you first.

Your content and your visitors’ data

The knowledge you put into Questme, and the conversations and leads your bots collect, remain yours. We claim no ownership of them and no right to use them for anything other than operating the service for you.

For your visitors’ personal data you are the data controller and we act as your data intermediary. How personal data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Service availability

We do not offer an uptime service level agreement. The service is provided on an as-available basis, and may be unavailable during maintenance or updates, or because of events outside our control, including outages at the providers we depend on.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the service is limited to the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

To the extent the law allows it to be excluded, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost leads, or loss caused by an answer your bot gave.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date shown at the top of this page.

Continuing to use Questme after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
